GCT SUMMER KIDS CAMPS

You asked - We listened! This summer, GCT is offering TWO opportunities for our young performers to take the stage! We are hosting day camps from Monday, June 1st through Friday, June 5th. Both of these camps include 5 days of singing and dancing, a cast shirt, a Friday snack, and a whole lot of FUN!

Registration is only $10!

These two camps will be run by GCT Youth Board Alumni: Lily Ebner, Zach Oris, Raven Storm Sharrock, and Elina Gilland. GCT Board Members and Youth Board Members will be lending a hand throughout the week.

Originally, this program was only going to go to age 10, but because of the incredible turnout of young performers at our Little Mermaid auditions, we wanted to expand the chance to take the stage.

For kids ages 5-8, we have planned a "Nursery Rhyme Remix." These performers will learn beloved nursery rhymes with a little twist.

For kids ages 9-12, we will be traveling through the works of Dr. Seuss!

"NURSERY RHYME REMIX" for 5-8 year olds
Monday, June 1st through Thursday, June 4th - Rehearsal from 9:30am to 11:30am
Friday, June 6th - Rehearsal from 9:30am to 11:00am
Friday, June 6th - PERFORMANCE at 11:30am (friends, family, and public are welcome to attend)

"A WEEK WITH SEUSS!" for 9-12 year olds
Monday, June 1st through Thursday, June 4th - Rehearsal from 1:30pm to 4:00pm
Friday, June 5th - Rehearsal from 1:30-4:00pm
Friday, June 5th - PERFORMANCE at 5:30pm (friends, family, and public are welcome to attend)

*at the older camp, we will keep the kids at the theatre between the Friday rehearsal and performance. Pizza and drinks will be provided!

This kids camp is generously funded by the Galion Community Education Foundation - thank you for making this artistic and educational opportunity widely available to our community.
